Homemade Bran Flake Breakfast bars have 6 ingredients and whip up in 10 minutes!

The Bran Flake Bars cost .75 (1/2 the box of cereal) + .47 (1/2 cup sugar) + 2.00 (honey) + .40 (peanut butter) + 1.30 (peanuts from the trail mix bag) = $4.92 total to cost you $0.55 each! You’ve got enough left over to make a second batch!

Quick and Easy Peanut Butter Granola Bars. Made quick and easy with trail mix!

The Granola Bars cost .75 (1/2 container of oatmeal) +1.00 (honey) + .39 (1/4 C butter) + 1.94 (trail mix) = $4.08 total cost and $0.40 each! There’s enough left over for a second batch.

After School Magic Stars Bars

Bring the kids some after school Magic Stars Bar Treats. The kids in after school activities will love them!

Three different homemade cereal bars. Perfect for breakfast, lunch and after school snacks.

Ingredients

For the Breakfast Bran Flake Bars

  • 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Honey
  • 1/2 Cup Peanut Butter
  • 3 Cups Harris Teeter Bran Flakes Cereal
  • 1 Cup Peanuts
  • 1/3 Cup mini chocolate chips (optional)

For the School Box Granola Bars

  • 2 1/2 cups Harries Teeter Old Fashioned Rolled Oats
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup Harris Teeter Trail Mix

For the Magic Stars Cereal Bars

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 8 cups mini marshmallows
  • 11.5 oz box Harris Teeter Magic Stars Cereal

Instructions

For the Breakfast Bran Flakes Cereal Bars

  1. Line a 9 x 9 baking dish with parchment paper or foil.
  2. Over medium heat, stir together the white sugar and honey. Bring to a boil and remove from heat. Stir in the peanut butter.
  3. Add the cereal and peanuts. Press into the pan.
  4. If you are adding the chocolate chips, let sit for 15 minutes to cool before sprinkling them on.
  5. Cool completely and cut into 3×3 squares. Makes 9 bars.Homemade Bran Flake Breakfast bars have 6 ingredients and whip up in 10 minutes!

For the Lunch Box Granola Bar

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F. Toast the oats for 8 – 10 minutes.
  2. Line an 8×8 baking dish with parchment or foil and spray it with nonstick cooking spray.
  3. Over medium heat, cook the honey, butter and brown sugar. Bring to a boil and then remove from heat. Stir in the vanilla.
  4. Add the toasted oats and trail mix and mix well. Press into the prepared pan.
  5. I pulled out the candies from the trail mix and added them to the top of the bars after it cooled for 15 minutes. Add 1/ cup of mini chocolate chips if you'd like.
  6. Leave to set for 2 hours at room temperature. Cut into long rectangles. Makes 10 servingsQuick and Easy Peanut Butter Granola Bars. Made quick and easy with trail mix!

For the After School Magic Stars Cereal Bars

  1. Line a 9 x 13 inch baking pan with parchment or foil.
  2. Melt the butter and mini marshmallows over medium heat. Stir until completely melted. Remove from heat.
  3. Stir in the Magic Stars Cereal and transfer to the baking dish. Press down. If the mixture is too sticky, spray your hands or spatchula with non stick cooking spray and press down.
  4. Leave to set for 2 hours at room temperature. Cut into squares. Makes 12 servings.Quick and Easy Peanut Butter Granola Bars. Made quick and easy with trail mix!
