Bandai Namco announced today that Dragon Ball Fighterz is coming out in all territories except Japan on January 26. The Japanese release follows on February 1. Dragon Ball Fighterz will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Dragon Ball Figherz is a fighting game that uses cel-shaded 3D models to capture the look of the show. Dragon Ball is one of the most popular anime brands in the world. The series has spawned a lot of games, but Fighterz is its most anticipated in some time thanks to the incredible graphics. We were impressed enough to give it one of our Unreal E3 Awards during the Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles.

Fighterz is coming from Arc System Works. The studio specializes in 2D fighting games like Guilty Gear, BlazBlue, and Persona 4 Arena. The company is also working on BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle, a crossover game featuring characters from its different franchises and the anime-style web series RWBY.

Dragon Ball Fighterz cast includes many of the show’s most memorable characters, including heroes like Goku, Gohan, and Kirllin, villains like Frieza, Cell, and Captain Ginyu, and baddies-turned-good like Vegeta, Android 18, and Piccolo.
