In 2015, Samsung showed us through its intriguing concept of attaching large screens on the back of the trucks. This allowed drivers behind the truck to look ahead of the truck. But now, the company is actually rolling out this system under “Safety Truck” around the world. Samsung wouldn’t be providing the trucks, in case you have been wondering! The company’s blog post revealed that the first prototype of the truck has been built by partnering with Volvo Trucks and Leo Burnett Helvetica. The video wall on the back of the trucks will feature OH46D displays that will through a full HD resolution. The video will be captured in real-time with help from two cameras installed on the each side of the truck. The screens will be dust and water proof according to IP56 specifications.
